The Problem

Traditional ToDo lists work great... until you have more than one person working on them.

With normal ToDo lists, there is no way to indicate whether an item is in progress. You can't check it off until the item is done. What if an item takes a long time to complete? What if it seems like a small task and two people try to tackle it at once?

You'll start stepping on toes unless you spend a lot of time coordinating who's going to work on what exactly. Even then we often found that small, nagging bugs will still end up getting a "quick-fix" from more than one person.

...So what can be done to fix these issues?

Our Solution

Encourage rapid collaboration. In ToDo Teams, users are given the ability to "claim" an todo item when they start working on it. Automatic updates are delivered to users viewing the same project. You'll know right away when something has changed without ever having to refresh the page.

Encourage information sharing. Sometimes a simple todo item just isn't enough information. ToDo Teams allows you to store and track extra information about an item or jot down implementation details before checking an item off. This provides other members on your team with a solid understanding of the work you've done.

Keep it simple. Simplicity is the goal, and we want everything to be possible through as little effort as possible. It's our goal to help you get things done, not get in your way.

Make it easy. All logins are handled by OpenID. Simply choose your favorite service provider from our list and login. No extra usernames or passwords to remember, and you can start using the system in seconds.

Keep it responsive. We want to keep the site running as smoothly as possible. We'll do our best to make sure things are nice and snappy.
